Are you interested in visiting the Western District of Missouri and lunch with Judge Wimes? Here are the details:

Date & Time: Monday, April 27, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - Check in at 11:50

Location: United States District Courts – Western District of Missouri located at 400 E. 9th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106

Parking/Transit: There is metered street parking on Oak Street (which is a northbound one-way street) and metered street parking on E. 9th Street (which is a westbound one-way street).

Security Procedures: Visitors MUST present government-issued photo identification to security upon arrival to the court. NO CELL PHONES WILL BE ALLOWED.

ATTIRE:  Professional/appropriate attire for court (i.e. dress pants, skirt or dress (knee length or longer), a button-down or blouse, etc.).

LUNCH:  The registration fee includes a boxed lunch that includes a sandwich, chips, pasta salad, coleslaw and a drink.

Schedule:

• 11:50 a.m. – Check-in/go through security in courthouse lobby.

• 12:00 p.m. – Lunch with Judge Wimes

• 1:00 p.m. – Group tour of Judge Wimes’ chambers and courtroom

• 1:40/1:45 p.m. – Q&A with Judge Wimes
