ABOUT US
The Kansas City
Paralegal Association (KCPA) is a professional association for paralegals in
the Kansas City area. KCPA is a
non-profit corporation, incorporated on September 24, 1975. Our purpose and goals are to promote,
enhance, and encourage the development of the paralegal profession; to provide
opportunities for networking among paralegals on the local, state, and national
levels; and to offer quality continuing education for paralegals. KCPA is governed by a Board of Directors and Officers elected by the voting members of the association. KCPA includes and welcomes members working in all areas of the law, students, sponsors, and Honorary members who have contributed to the paralegal profession. KCPA is proud to promote and participate in various local community service projects and pro bono programs. KCPA awards annual scholarships to students enrolled in local paralegal programs. Our Board of Directors and members are often selected to speak at seminars and local paralegal programs. |
