The theme for this membership meeting is Ethics and our speakers are Mark Brennan and Fred Sgroi, both Partners with Bryan Cave LLP.

Mark Brennan has been practicing law for more than twenty years. He has substantial experience with products liability, class action, and appellate litigation. Over the last ten years, his practice evolved to focus on e-discovery. Mark practices in the Kansas City, Missouri office of Bryan Cave LLP, and he believes he is the only litigator in the firm who spends more time working in Excel than in Word. Mark has been a member of Bryan Cave’s Ethics Committee for seventeen years and was the lawyer-supervisor of the office’s paralegals for five years.

Fred Sgroi began practicing law in Kansas City in the year the Royals won Game 7 of the World Series. Just over eleven years ago, he joined Bryan Cave LLP, where, with Mark Brennan and many others, he is part of the litigation practice in the firm’s Kansas City, Missouri office. Fred began his legal career in the trial department of one of the predecessors to the firm now known as Stinson Leonard Street, and then served for many years as a senior in-house attorney at a large telecommunications company headquartered in Johnson County, Kansas. He also serves on Bryan Cave’s Ethics Committee.
